FAQ

Common Questions Our Sun Prairie Chiropractic Clinic Gets Asked

  • Do you accept insurance?

Peak Performance Chiropractic & Rehab accepts most insurances. If you have insurance, please call our office for a free benefits check. We are very open about our prices, and there are no hidden fees.

If you don’t have insurance, that’s okay! We also accept all forms of private pay, including debit/credit cards, HSA/FSA, and cash.

We pride ourselves on getting patients better fast and avoiding lengthy treatment plans that require you to come back “for the rest of your life.” Please call or submit an inquiry to find out more about your specific pricing situation.

  • What if I am not an athlete? Can I still see you?

Of course! The benefit of seeing a sports-based chiropractor is that you get the full-rounded approach an athlete gets. This leads to a faster recovery time for most patients.

Our chiropractic clinic can treat pregnant moms, seniors, and youngsters. We adapt our treatment methods to fit all our patient’s specific goals, from wanting to have a comfortable pregnancy to being able to walk without a shuffle. We will do our best to get you to your goals, which may include referring you to another provider. Either way, we have your best interest in mind.

  • What is the first appointment like?

Your first appointment at our chiropractic clinic usually takes 30-60 minutes. During this time, our chiropractor, Dr. Georgeson, will take a detailed history and perform an examination. The examination will consist of physical, neurological, movement assessments, and orthopedic exams. Usually, treatment is provided on the same day.

Our chiropractic clinic will provide a functional movement evaluation and biomechanical assessment focused on the activities that cause you pain or discomfort, including running, lifting, and sitting at a desk.

  • Do you take X-rays on every patient?

No, we rarely need X-rays or other additional diagnostic imaging. If needed, we will refer you to a local imaging facility to have your images taken and read by a specialist. This will save you time and money. Our clinic does not have an x-ray unit onsite.

  • How many visits do I need to feel better?

Every patient is different, and that is why we perform a customized assessment that incorporates clinical findings and your personal wellness goals. Our chiropractor, Dr. Georgeson, will discuss short-term and long-term goals. For some patients, this could be just a few visits. For others, it could take longer to reach their goals.

At our chiropractic clinic, your goals are the priority. If Dr. Georgeson determines that our clinic is not the appropriate starting point for your care, he will make the appropriate referral to another local healthcare professional to help you achieve them.
